This weekend I sat down and did some more work on my Volkswagen Beetle. The Rendering was done in MR with image based lighting and MR and Maya shader nodes. I ended up with a total rendertime of 4 minutes in 1280×720. There is still much more work to do on the model but I got a little excited about it and so I posted this unfinished result.

During the last weeks I was practicing my high resolution modeling skills again. I know it is still in development and there are some tweaks needed.

I am really looking forward to the texturing/shading/lighting/rendering part of this little side-project.
